We’ve been getting spammed with redundant news headlines reporting that Joe Biden has won the election. The redundancy is the result of a “kicking and screaming” incumbent who isn’t ready to move on. The latest “excuse” for Trump’s behavior comes from White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany who claims that the Trump administration didn’t receive a fair transition either.
“[Trump was] was never given an orderly transition of power,” she said in her first press conference since October 1 however, the Obama administration never blocked the exchange of necessary intelligence between Obama and Trump.
The Trump administration is actively withholding key information from President-elect Biden.
Peace could be contagious.
The unification of America seems light years apart but a peaceful transition from Tump to Biden can help expedite the journey.
Supporters of each party are clashing over the election results based on the idea that something fishy happened against the Trump campaign. Trump supporters feel wronged and protest as a result. Trump charges the protestors with false claims and support.
Just last weekend, the “lame duck” President visited protests in D.C.
The world is on edge but concession from Trump will ease the stress. It may even echo into society as symbol of each side learning to work together. I’m not confident that society can handle much more aggression.
